AMERICAN STAR BALL CHAMPIONSHIPS and its proud co-owners Ilya and Amanda Reyzin

Ilya and Amanda Reyzin are happy to announce their new co-ownership of the American Star Ball Championships. They are very excited and honored to take on this new adventure as Competition Organizers.
Ilya began dancing at the age of five in Russia. By age eleven, he won second place at the Junior Division of the Open Russian National Championship. Over the next few years, Ilya represented Russia in the multiple International Championships achieving top placements in his divisions. At the age of sixteen, he represented Russia in the World 10-Dance Championship in Austria and finished in the top 10. In 1997, Ilya immigrated to the United States and for the next eight years competed across the country in the Amateur Latin and Standard divisions, placing as a US National Ten Dance finalist four years in a row.
Amanda began studying ballet at the age of ten. At age fourteen, she began living with her dance coaches so she could train full time. At seventeen, she moved to Philadelphia to dance with the International Ballet Theatre in their Corps de Ballet. A year later she began dancing as a soloist in the ballet company and toured the East Coast. In 2004 Amanda began studying ballroom dancing and in 2005 she competed in her first Amateur Latin competition and quickly progressed to Championship level. In August 2006, Amanda won the Amateur American Rhythm division in the USABDA National Championship and 8 months later won the 2007 NDCA National Championship in Provo, UT.
