Goran Nordin and his dance partner Nicola Nordin, are former UK Closed Amateur Latin Champions, British National Professional Latin Champions, UK Closed Professional Latin Champions and European Professional Latin Championship Finalists.
Based at the famous Semley Dance Studio in London, Goran has successfully represented Great Britain with Nicola Nordin, in all major championships. Goran and Nicola have both been invited to teach, adjudicate and demonstrate all over the world. He is a member of IDTA Latin, member of ISTD Latin and Ballroom and International Championship Adjudicator in Latin and Modern.
In addition to his official qualifications, Goran values his experience and the knowledge he hasaccrued over the years as a competitor and lecturer above all. The absolute commitment to help and further the couples he teaches is one of Goran’s essential values. Goran specializes in choreography and the development of fast and accurate footwork. In his choreographic work, he strives to portray a very clear message of what the choreography should represent and what kind of effect it is trying to achieve. He specializes in using dynamic, such as fast and slow turns in order to highlight the different shades of movement and their various dynamic effects within the choreography.
In turn, he believes that a few of the criteria necessary to succeed in today’s International Competitive Dancing are musicality, discipline, energy, dynamics, competitive artistry, determination, charisma and fitness.
In addition to dance, Goran possesses a passion for design and dressmaking. Nordin Couture is a leading dressmaker specializing in unique and trendsetting Latin Outfits for the Male Dancer and Ladies´ Ballroom and Latin Dresses.
